I talk a LOT about beauty on the blog and I live for telling you all about the local salons I rate so you can get flawless treatments that you love. But if you don’t love salons but still want beautiful nails then this post is for you. Yep, this is all about an at home gel manicure that is easy and affordable. This DIY nail situ is ideal if bare nails aren’t for you or you don’t want to spend a fortune at a salon every two weeks. A couple of coats and a few minutes under a LED light is all you need.
Beetles is your go-to gel polish brand and there is a set for everyone. You can get singular polishes, small sets with six colours and sets with twenty colours. Did I mention you can buy them on Amazon?
So what’s in the box? My set had a base coat, top coat and various classic colours as well as festive glittery options. C503 and C504 are my favourite shades for sparkly options but there’s a classic black and a stunning oxblood shade which are also staples for the winter months not to mention essential red for the festive season. Ice blue chrome nails are set to be the next big thing so C507 might be your new best friend. The sparkly ones are also great for doing a statement french tip if you fancy a change.
Something not entirely obvious when browsing is that the bottles are mini sized and have around 5ml of product in them. The formula is obviously thicker than regular polish but super easy to apply and is extremely long lasting. Chip free nails have never been simpler.
*Great gift alert* This set makes a great gift because the polishes are housed in an acrylic box that keeps all of the colours well organised. There’s matte and glossy finishes and they all cure beautifully. Hands down the best gel nail polish I’ve tried at home.
The best news? I have a discount code for you. Use CODE: remieblog10 for 10% OFF (Valid until Dec 31st), available on both US & UK Amazon site.
