A beauty product has to be pretty exceptional to sneak into my daily rotation. Here’s a rundown of my everyday essentials from base to blush.
Base – This is my holy grail for no make-up days but also the key to creating a flawless base under foundation. No gatekeeping here ladies. This potent eco-concious anti-aging formula boasts frankincense for wrinkles, avocado butter for natural skin protection and essential oils to create a rich and hydrating formula that leaves skin feeling dewy and glowy. It’s 100% natural and it is designed to create a protective barrier over the skin that blocks out harmful UV rays.
This anti-ageing cream is also part of my weekly pamper night and is the ultimate moisturiser to use if you like to do facial massages at home.
Armani Foundation – On days when I wear foundation it will always be Luminous Silk. It goes on like a dream and gives the most amazing dewy glow. It’s high coverage which makes it perfect for a night out too. On sale here.
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer – This is like ten hours of sleep in a tube. It illuminates the areas where dark shadows collect and doesn’t sit in the creases. It’s also not a designer label so the cheapest way to cheat your way to looking fresh as a daisy even when you are not. I use shade Ivory.
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder – I use a dewy moisturiser so a setting powder is essential for me. This is a luxe buy for sure but it lasts an age and doesn’t make your skin too powdery which is a win. A total cult classic.
Nars Liquid Blush – This blush has become a firm fave in my daily routine. This has replaced my Nars powder blush and it gives you the perfect rosy cheeks look. Unlike bronzer, I prefer a pink blush as it gives a youthful finish that I’m totally addicted to. Compliments will flow in. I’m dying to try the Armani version so drop me a comment if you’ve tried it!
Eyes
The Urban Decay naked palette is my favourite and although it was discontinued, it has been re-stocked for a limited period! Run don’t walk.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – OBSESSED with this. It looks like you have fake lashes. *Flutter Flutter*
Lips
The current lipstick obsession is the Loreal Colour Riche lipstick under a gloss. Gloss go-to is always Mac see-thru (can you say old school?).
