I fully recommend going for a facial in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. Instantly relaxed, we began with a triple cleanse that eradicates every trace of makeup and daily pollutants to leave your skin feeling clean and free of any dead skin cells. Now for the best bit. A combination of oils and superfoods are then applied to give your skin an epic injection of moisture to leave it looking plump and dewy.
I’m always a little wary of face oils as I worry they will leave my face feeling greasy but the oils used are soaked nourishing the skin in the process. The Frangipani scent is delightful and creates an experience that is both relaxing and spa-like. The oils are warming and ensure you leave feeling radiant and I could literally feel my dry skin drinking all of the goodness in. A peel is also applied and removed with gloriously hot towels.
Pout Beauty is the perfect salon to experience this luxurious treatment. The bed was heated and the lights dimmed to provide an environment that feels a world away from the hustle and bustle outside. My talented therapist Beth used a weighted eye mask throughout the treatment to create a sense of serenity. The facial finished with a shoulder, arm and scalp massage that meant I left feeling just as relaxed as I usually would after a full body treatment. I have naturally dry and dull skin and this facial was the perfect moisture hit on a cold and rainy day.
