Hello hello, so I’m jumping in here with a fabulous little beauty recommendation here. After going on holiday with two of my close friends, I’ve remembered the joy that comes with sharing those desert island beauty buys that you can’t live without.
A few weeks ago I was gifted a hydrating face spray from the lovely team at Hemsley Organics and I loved it so much that I’m going to give it a review all of its own. With my 38th birthday looming, I’ve noticed how my beauty needs have changed since my early 30’s and rather than lightweight moisturisers and heavy makeup, I much prefer a fresh face. Which is where this product comes in. My skincare routine is now geared towards clear and glowing skin and anything that can make my face firmer and more hydrated is a yes from me.
My favourite thing about this product is that it’s more of a relaxing and refreshing beauty ritual than anything else. Spritzing it on feels like a treat and I look forward to it each day. I tend to use it on a morning doused onto a cotton pad as a post cleanse toner or spray it on to my face post gym for a little revitalising boost. This product has rose water in it, so it feels calming on the skin and it also has hyaluronic acid hence the anti-aging benefits. Grapefruit essential oils add a zesty and uplifting feel.
By far my absolute favourite thing about this product is that it’s Reiki Blessed. What makes Hemsley Organics stand out from other holistic brands is that each product is blessed with Reiki energy to ensure the formula is supercharged with healing and positive energy. If you love setting intentions and raising your own vibrations, you can repeat a few affirmations while you spritz. 30 year old me would have thought a face mist was a total waste of time but 38 year old me is very excited to spritz my face while telling the universe what I want to attract into my life.
