Ooooooh! Today is the day that I’m going to start my Christmas shopping (from the couch with an outrageously large hot chocolate stacked with marshmallows) and so I thought it would be the perfect time to publish the first of my luxury Christmas gift guides. I’m starting with a festive food and drink edit naturally. This year I’m planning to create my own festive stockings and hampers to present to friends, family and loyal clients at Christmas and I’m going to stack them to the brim with tasty treats and tipples. Here’s my pick of the best luxury edible items to stash in your HO HO HOmemade hampers. This treats and tipple guide has something for everyone on your list, from kids to corporate clients.
First up, let’s start with a couple of insanely luxurious options from Zchocolat. A fabulous French chocolate brand, the Holiday Zbox is a festive addition to any hamper but it also makes a superb stand-alone gift. You can personalise the box too which adds a thoughtful touch. Ideal for loyal clients that have thrown work your way all year or those particularly picky people on your list, the Parisian inspired box is bound to impress. For something sentimental for a loved one, opt for the Holiday Ruby collection that comes in a solid mahogany box inscribed with golden snowflakes and Santa’s sleigh. A truly memorable gift.
Next up is this marvellous marzipan hamper from Niederegger. If you are going to gift marzipan, truffles or nougat, this is the brand to choose. This would be a lovely treat for nephews and nieces as it’s cute and colourful but it would delight any marzipan fan. My Mum is particularly fond of marzipan and I know she would love some posh marzipan loaves peeking out of her stocking. This hamper is packed to the brim with deliciously festive mini marzipan treats, a dark chocolate Santa, assorted flavoured marzipan bars and more!
If your hamper is missing a trendy tipple, throw in a bottle of Haig Club. This sweet and light whisky is going in my Father in Law’s hamper along with some chocolate covered brazils. The Clubman edition is always at the top of his wishlist. A go-to gift for anyone who knows a thing or two about whisky.
These personalised Reese’s treats make a fun addition to your work wife’s hamper or your BFF that loves her sweet treats. Personalised Reese’s spread? #giftgoals
Looking for something romantic for your other half? Pop in this personalised Lindt teddy. Cute as a button!
For the happy camper in your life that loves the outdoors, surprise them with this super handy wonderbag that is basically a portable slow cooker that requires no plug and no power. It keeps your food hot for 12 hours! Genius! This clever little product is sure to get you maximum brownie points with your cousin who loves to go climbing, your uncle that likes camping or your auntie who goes caravanning.
For something cool for your sister or your bestie look no further than cool candy brand Wally & Whiz. My mum bought me their candy advent calendar last year and they also do cute baubles filled with sweets!
Complete your hamper with a bottle of bubbles. You can personalise these mini Moet bottles or go big and send a personalised magnum! Who wouldn’t love one of these? *hint hint*For friends you might not get to catch up with in time to give them a gift in person, letterbox wine is the perfect option!
