I love a luxury hotel suite and so when I was invited to an exciting launch event to celebrate Hotel Du Vin’s collaboration with Slingsby Gin I didn’t need to be asked twice. I mean luxury hotel suites and gin are my two favourite things and even though gin is not on my agenda for the next 18 weeks, I couldn’t resist a peek at the hotel’s new gin inspired suite. I mean, it’s the ultimate luxury night in for gin lovers.
For those of you that live in Harrogate, Birmingham, London, York and Brighton, your local Hotel Du Vin is now home to a stunning suite with gin inspired decor. If you have a special occasion coming up, a birthday, an anniversary or a celebration of any kind, you’re going to want to check in here. But don’t hang around as these suites are only available until the end of September.
As well as the fabulously decorated suite, the hotel has created a gin inspired menu to accompany it and it features quite the line up of cocktails and dishes that aim to give hotel guests a unique experience.
As well as meeting the wonderful Slingsby team on the night, I had a wonderful conversation with the award-wining garden designer Matthew Wilson who has transformed the five suites with a subtle combination of botanicals and greenery to not only make the rooms look great but intertwine scents and scenery to provide relaxation and serenity.
Every one of the five Ginspiration suites are unique and feature bespoke touches such as gin inspired furnishings and diffusers to create the perfect guest room for gin lovers.
We came, we saw, we ate copious amounts of canapes and soaked up the scenery. What I love about this campaign is the attention to detail that has gone into it and I for one think it’s reminded me of my love for this traditional hotel and given it a much needed modern twist.
