1) Did you always dream of designing your own fashion line?
Absolutely. Even as a little girl I would cut patterns and make clothes for my dolls. I have always loved creating clothes.
2) What was the inspiration behind the LC Lauren Conrad collection for Spring/Summer?

Coloured denim was big and we used it a lot in the collection. We used a great red/orange colour that just feels like spring. Also played with printed denim as well and florals. That was a huge inspiration for the collection.
3) What are your must have pieces for Spring?
A maxi dress as it can take you from day to night, office to dinner and even be worn to a pool party. Also, a cute pair of wedges are great to invest in as they can be worn with dresses, shorts and jeans.
4) How would you describe your signature style?

5) You are gracing the cover of this month’s Glamour Magazine. How did you prepare to bare all for their swimsuit issue and was it easy to show your saucier side?
You can never prepare so I just had to do it. I am on the shy side and I just decided why not now? I work out, I take care of myself and if there ever was a time, it was now.
6) If you had one tip for total body confidence what would it be?
Everyone has a body part they love and one they don’t. Try and emphasize what you feel good about, highlight the positive and you will feel comfortable.

7) You have your own lifestyle blog; do you spend a lot of time online?
I love websites and shopping online. Currently I am obsessed with Pinterest.
8 When you are not designing, writing and blogging, how do you spend your time?
Spending time with friends, hanging out, making food and watching a cute movie.

9) Congratulations on the release of your fourth novel The Fame Game. How much of it is inspired by your past reality show shenanigans?
I always was told to write what I know so at first I based my books off of things that have actually happened. With this book a little of that still holds true although I do get to play in fantasy quite a bit.

10) What’s next for Lauren Conrad?
I will continue designing LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s and Paper Crown and I am due to release two new books this year, one focused on beauty.
