A sign of a superb salon is the ability to move with the times and tap into all the latest trends. Yes, I’m talking about nail art. Nail art when done well can be super elegant. Seasonal nails are really fun if you want to switch up your look which is exactly what I did at Townhouse Leeds today. A Halloween French mani but make it chic!
If you read my last review of Townhouse Leeds, you will know it’s a high-tech salon and I love that you can select your shades from a lookbook on an iPad. Cool huh? I headed to their Instagram for inspiration and finally settled on the cutest of ghosts to give my mani a spooky edge.
There were so many amazing designs to choose from including a nude sheer shade with moons and stars. If, like me, you tend to stick to what you know nail colour wise, trust me when I say it’s fun to mix it up. The girls in the salon were super helpful and made lots of recommendations on what to pick.
Again, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this salon and Georgia created the most flawless French mani. This time she used a builder gel to create durable nails that will last but I’ve bookmarked a gel with the name Dolly for my next set of nails which is a slightly paler colour.
Like the pedi, all instruments were single use and I could take my nail file home to stash in my car glovebox. Even with all of the Christmas preparations going on, the salon is like a zen bubble where you can relax and enjoy some me time.
