Today I wanted to tell you all about this lovely luxurious body oil that I was kindly sent by the team at Tea & Tonic a few weeks ago. This body oil has been fully tried and tested out and it’s become an integral part of my post-bath regime. In the past few weeks, I’ve thrown myself back into the gym and have been running a lot as well as taking on an epic rowing challenge so my body has been craving a little TLC. I’ve found myself looking forward to applying this oil (boobs, bum and tummy) after a hot bath post gym and it’s like a little reward. Whether you exercise a little or a lot or you prefer showers to baths, this body oil would make a great post bathing addition to your skincare routine. Now, I love body oils and I’ve used them religiously since I was pregnant and I’ve stayed pretty loyal to the brand I was using but this one by Tea & Tonic has earned its way into my daily rotation. And it’s more affordable!
One of the biggest reasons why I love it is it smells like the products they use at expensive spas and the scent is really uplifting. It’s not greasy and it absorbs really quickly and leaves your skin feeling supple and smooth. The reason I prefer oils to lotions is that even after just one use, your skin appears firmer and it leaves a lovely glowy sheen on the skin. Another point scored for this brand is that this product is completely cruelty-free and vegan and it is also cheaper than the brand I was using before which is nice. Oh and the packaging is really high quality too.
If you haven’t heard of this brand previously, the team are based in Surrey and all of their lotions and potions are created on-site. The formulas are created by Biologists, herbalists and aromatherapists and anthropologists to bring you sustainable products that take an innovative approach to health and wellness.
Another thing I have to mention about this brand is the significance of the Tea in Tea & Tonic. They create tea blends that focus on wellness from the inside and I received a few samples to try. Now I was trying to lower my sugar consumption this month and these teas are the perfect thing to keep me occupied on an evening and actually stopped me from reaching for the chocolate. I adored the white mint high spirits tea. This particular blend contains eucalyptus and peppermint to help you destress. British Beauty Blogger has done a full review of this tea here.
