As you might know, I’ve started the 4-week body blitz diet (so far I’m on day 4) but in two weeks I go away so I’m going to pack a few things to help keep me on the straight and narrow. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to give up those poolside cocktails, but I am going to get a few workouts in and try to go for healthier food options. So, here’s a little inspo from sports inspired swimwear to those must-have sliders.
First up is a style staple for gym bunnies. I’m not a cap person in everyday life, but for outdoor workouts, beach runs or hikes, a cap can really complete your look and keep your hair in check.
This season’s IT trainer for me is the sequin embellished D & G ones. Perfect to travel in, they do this style with an I and a Love heart design on each toe and D & G on the side. They also do a dreamy leopard print design.
I’m a stickler for packing gym gear and never wearing it, but the promise of holiday fitness is a great excuse to buy some new sporty bits and pieces. Heroine Sport is a new brand on my radar bringing a sports bra and leggings to the table that will make you want to wear your gym kit day in and day out.
What next. Sporty swimsuit. Check! Goggles Check! Finding a swimsuit that you can actually do laps in that looks stylish is hard but it’s something the TYR brand has mastered. This design has isolated compression areas for a stronger swim. Fancy huh?
What’s that? Oh, it just the SLIDERS OF DREAMS from Fendi. These are going straight on the wish list in case I actually have any money left after Dubai or someone that loves me wins the lottery. Pricey but perfect.
Let’s talk beauty. Whether you plan to workout or not, an invisibobble will come in handy as will a high factor SPF and a shampoo that brings out your best beach wave.
Lastly, a rainbow float for the gram of course.
