First up is a leather biker jacket. Leather jackets are a year-round staple that looks just as good over jeans and a top as it does over your favourite party dresses. If you’re rocking a mini dress for your work’s Christmas party, a leather jacket is a dressy option that is perfect for when you are going out out. I love this leather jacket from Belstaff. It’s a classic biker style which means it won’t ever go out of fashion. These types of purchases are the ones that you will have in your wardrobe for years to come and an investment you will never regret. Just look at those ribbed shoulders. Perfection!
Next up is a handy little lace bralet that you can put under all of those sheer tops that you own and have no idea what to wear under them. This is it! This is perfect when you want to show less skin but pretty enough to show through a sheer top. An essential for the party season.
Everyone needs a go-to out for dinner top and I’ve found just the thing. I love the sheer panels and the racer back design. This Free People top is only £40 and it’s ideal to throw on with these leather coated jeans by Paige. I’m actually planning on buying these jeans over the weekend to see me through the winter season as I think they will come in handy over the colder months when you want something a little smarter than your old faithful Zara black jeans. They look great with an oversized jumper and pumps too so they are ideal for day or night.
Free people have come to the rescue again for those of you looking for the perfect LBD. This one is black satin and it’s perfect to wear with heels on a nightime or boots during the day.
Speaking of boots, I just bought these Micheal Kors boots and I’m nervous about them for a few reasons. First of all, they are suede and that’s not the most practical of fabrics when there’s rain and snow on the ground. Secondly, I’m not a boot person. However, they are so beautiful and I’m very much in need of winter appropriate footwear so I’m going to be brave and just wear them.
Much less of a scary investment are these black suede court shoes by Topshop. I couldn’t believe these were Topshop. I went to a Topshop talk hosted by my blogger pal Em Sheldon this week and I now have a wish list as long as my arm and these are at the very top. Did I mention they are in the sale?
Absolutely the opposite of a bargain is this velvet Gucci bag. Maybe one to put on the Christmas wish list? Or one to consider should you be fortunate to win the lottery in the next few weeks. It quite literally is the bag of dreams *hint hint*
Complete your capsule wardrobe with a deep red lip and a statement gold bangle.
