Leeds has been a hub for much excitement of late what with the opening of Victoria Gate last month and my social calendar has been packed to the brim with exciting events. Last night my friend Kelly and I went to the preview of the new Italian cinema pop up by The House of Peroni at Harvey Nichols Leeds. Nestled at the bottom of the Victoria Quarter is a pop up cinema celebrating the best of Italian culture and style. From the 2nd-12th Nov you can enjoy an evening immersed in Italian film.
While the House of Peroni residency ended in June, the brand are collaborating with Harvey Nichols to bring a special cinematic experience to Leeds. Guests are treated to a selection of Italian light bites presented in boxes on your seat and a blanket to keep you all warm and toasty.
The best bit? There’s a Peroni Nastro Azzurro bar serving Peroni infused cocktails. The Sapori Di Roma is my favourite. Boasting classics such as the Talented Mr Ripley, Cinema Paradiso, La Vita e’ Bella and To Rome With Love, it’s sure to be a good night.
This is only one in a string of exciting events to celebrate Britalia a global campaign to celebrate the very best of Italian style. For a cinema experience with a difference, head to the House of Peroni pop up. It’s a cracking little date night idea or you could go with a friend. Fancy a trip? For £20 you get your cinema ticket, a box of Italian savoury treats and a bottle of Peroni. You can find the film listing here. GO GO GO!
I think it’s safe to say Laura and I had a lovely time.
