*Organic Glam Luminous Antioxidant Foundation (Shade 1) £34.96
I’ve been on the hunt for a barely there foundation for weeks. You know the kind, the one you can wear to the gym without being judged or the one you apply on those not really doing anything days. A great daytime foundation is hard to come by so when one landed in my lap last week I couldn’t quite believe my luck. I’ve worn Chanel Vitalumiere foundation for years but the coverage is on the heavy side and I wanted a sheer foundation that would enhance my complexion rather than hide it. When this little beauty landed in my makeup bag, I could feel my barely there makeup look materialising before my very eyes. *giddy face*
I’ll be honest, for me, the Organic Glam range is a new discovery. I’d heard of The Organic Pharmacy (I’m in love with their skincare range) but I had no idea there was a cosmetic collection also. As the name suggests their products are packed with natural ingredients and they’re cruelty free. This foundation is packed with antioxidants and mineral pigments that help to create a flawless finish. The packaging is sophisticated and understated, subtle like the makeup look I’m always trying to achieve. However, while pretty packaging is always a bonus, it’s what’s inside that counts. The foundation itself is light and blends easily. It’s perfect for off duty days. The only thing that makes me a little sulky is the price. At £34.96, it’s only £2 cheaper than my Chanel foundation which seems very pricey for a product that is barely there. However, overall I was very pleased with the results. It has a gorgeous matte finish that I’ve fallen head over heels for. You can get your hands on it here.
There are six shades to choose from. This shade is perfect for my naturally fair skin tone but I may need the Shade 2 once I return from my holidays in a few weeks as this one will be too pale. Have you tried the Organic Glam Luminous Antioxidant Foundation? I’d love to hear what you thought!
