When it comes to my beauty regime, exfoliating is one of my favourite things to do and I’ve devoted a lot of time into finding the perfect one. So, I was so excited when I received this fabulous little jar of scrub from the lovely team at Bodhi. I find that salt scrubs often give the best results due to the course grains and this is the perfect type of scrub to use the night before a spray tan or just before you jet off on your holidays. Based on my previous experience with salt scrubs, I expected a high quality product but the Bodhi detox scrub offered so much more. For a start it smells divine. It fills your bathroom with the smell of essential oils and lingers on your skin subtly for hours afterwards leaving you feeling as though you have just spent the last few hours being pampered in a spa. The pretty packaging is also a plus as it adds a luxurious touch to your bathroom.
You don’t get a huge amount of body scrub in the pot to say it costs a whopping £35 but you only need a small amount to feel silky smooth from top to toe. So where does the detox part come in? Well, this scrub is best used in the bath. Apply it on to damp skin and then once you have completed your full body exfoliation, lie in the bath and let the powerful ingredients work their magic. The list is endless. Himalayan salt crystals, Rosemary and Geranium essential oils, organic Shea Butter and Apricot kernel oil work together to create a luxurious detoxifying soak.
