Elemis Tri Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash

AKA supermodel skin in a squeezy tube. Over the weekend I attempted the hugely boring but highly satisfying task of clearing out my beauty cabinets. (Note to self: be more interesting) I found this Elemis facial wash in my bottom drawer hiding under a sea of Liz Earle minis and I decided to dig it out and give it a go. I know what you’re thinking. Face wash? Is it 1999? I too haven’t used a ‘face wash’ since my Dermalogica phase, I simply haven’t a need for one now that I’ve made the leap as a real grown up to cleansers. However, I am a sucker for anything Elemis and I was immediately sold by the anti-aging aspect. So I tried it out and my face is extremely thankful.

I spent a long time racking my brains to think where I acquired this little gem. I knew I got it free in a beauty box or in a free gift at Harvey Nics. Further investigation revealed (I should really be a spy) that it was a free gift, that came in this Fifi Lapin themed bag. Cute huh?

Sorry about the Iphone snap! It came with a barrage of beauty products, some I loved (YSL Mascara) some I didn’t (Laura Mercier Primer).

The Elemis Tri Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash isn’t creamy or rich like a cleanser it’s more of a gel but it lathers up nicely and smells divine. I noticed a difference in my skin after only one use.

The next morning my skin felt silky smooth like I’d been for an Elemis facial or a peel. A great skin day followed and I received a compliment from one of my friends for which I gave my Elemis facial wash full credit for. My favourite thing about this product is that unlike a peel or a facial, you can use this daily for salon worthy skin straight out of the shower. I did a bit of research to see what others thought about my new skin saviour and I’m not the first to rate it. It’s won awards. As I mentioned, this was a free gift and so it’s only a mini version. The 200 ml one is £29. In true form, I’ve found another expensive product to add to my daily beauty regime but unlike expensive products I’ve tried in the past and hated (I’m taking about you Creme De La Mer) this facial wash is worth every penny.

Don’t forget to clean out your beauty cupboards this Spring! There could be something life changing in there! Have you tried this Elemis product? Did you rate it or hate it?
