It takes a lot for a new brand to get my attention. For the last year, it seems like I’ve been shopping with blinkers on, blocking out new brands and sticking to what I know. However when I flounced past the boxy Sophie Hulme bags last season, I couldn’t help but think that they were made for me. Since then, the brand’s signature style has slowly gotten under my skin and I’m enraptured with it. Introducing Sophie Hulme at Avenue 32,the Queen of minimalistic chic and the reason my weekly budget is ruined.

It’s too warm to wear my favourite summer pieces and I’m totally bored of my winter clothes. It’s that tricky time of year when you just need something new. Well, luckily for me the SS14 collection from Sophie Hulme is very wearable. Statement nautical designs and pieces that are perfect for the tricky transitional period, I can’t fault the collection which is very unfortunate for my bank account.
