I never thought I’d find a fake tan that compares to a salon quality spray tan formula but I’m pleased to let you know I now have a secret weapon to use at home. I hate everything about applying my own fake tan. Having to turn into a body contortionist to ensure you have got every last inch, smelling like a digestive biscuit and then having to wait around for the tan to dry has never appealed to me. However, it seems once you find the right fake tan, the process is surprisingly easy. I was so excited to receive the Ibiza Honey tanning range and so far it has surpassed my expectations.
So far I’ve only tried the medium shade and the colour is ideal for an everyday glow. My favourite thing about this product is that it is a mousse formula. It glides on and blends easily to provide flawless coverage. The smell is on the strong side at first but if you put it on before you go to bed and leave it to develop overnight, the smell is almost undetectable post shower. The medium shade goes on quite dark so you can see where you have applied it but it washes off in the shower to leave a gorgeous glow. I was most impressed by the colour as it lasted longer than a spray tan usually does. I can’t wait to try the dark shade over Christmas.
