Ahh the strapless dress, how I long to wear you. Trust me, I’ve had more strapless mishaps than I have holidays and I’ve come to conclusion that big boobs and strapless dresses don’t work. It’s official, holiday season is upon us and I’m already popping my Louis V shades on my head in anticipation. I’ve recently booked a holiday to Ibiza *cue panic* and ever since I received my booking confirmation I’ve been glued to my laptop searching for my Ibiza wardrobe. This month I will mostly be trying to pull off the playsuit while manically tapping away online trying to source some crochet that makes me look more Miranda Kerr than Miranda Hart.
Anyhoo, I’ve found the perfect maxi to travel in from Next but duh duh duuuuuuh. It’s strapless. Now, I’m a huge fan of the strapless bra but if you fall into anything above the AA category, finding a good one is a near impossible task. There are the ones that have so much padding in that they drag your boobs down to your knees*, not a good look at 27 (soon to be 28). Then there’s the ones that are so supportive, they turn your ample bosom into flat pancakes. Not forgetting the lacy ones that show through your dress. A high vis bra would be more subtle. Is it too much to ask for a supportive bra that offers killer cleavage? Thankfully it isn’t. Freya have come to our rescue with a fabulous bra for all occasions. Do you struggle with strapless?
*Please note, looking fab sans straps is pointless if you have to have your boobs airlifted back to their rightful place.
