Working in marketing, I come across a lot of average social media campaigns but one brand that are doing it right are Mercedes Benz. They are rewarding fans with a competition to win a trip of a lifetime. Their new interactive site is quite frankly fabulous, giving fans the chance to enjoy a virtual road trip to win real life prizes.
The Rules:
Answer a question at each milestone city on your road trip and be in with a chance of winning a safari for two in Africa.
Enter the Mercedes-Benz virtual road trip and compete for one of the seven seats in the GL-Class by answering questions at milestone cities along the route and picking up bonus points along the way.
The person who’s at the top of the leader board with the most points when the GL-Class reaches a milestone city gets one of the coveted seats in the car. Once a seat is given away, the leader board resets and everyone (whether a new or existing player) will have the chance to compete for the next seat in the car.
Seven winners (one for each city) will each get an off road 4×4 experience at MB World. One Grand Prize winner will also enjoy a scandalously good safari holiday for two to South Africa!
